The Sensation was HTC's best device last year, featuring the first asynchronous dual core processor on a smartphone. Though the device was good and had a great build quality it did not sell well against the Samsung Galaxy S 2. But this does not stop them from bringing out a white version of this new device and the best part of it is that it will come with Android 4.0 out of the box.
Apart from Android 4.0 and the white color there will not be any other major upgrades. This also means that the original Sensation users will receive the Android 4.0 update around the same time. The only sad part here is that this version of Sensation will only be available in Europe. We still have no idea whether it will come with Sense 4.0 or 3.5 but we hope that it comes with Sense 4.0. This beautiful looking device will be available for the consumers in Europe from March 1.

HTC Ville just sounds like a code name I think it will be called something else by the time it gets announced after a few weeks, this device will be the successor of Sensation models from HTC, it will be having a dual core processor clocked to 1.5GHz, with 1 GB of RAM and an 8 MP rear camera, also the rumors say that it will be having a qHD display, but I really hope by the time it comes out it should be ready to compete the better Super AMOLED HD displays already out there.

Though I am not a big fan of any UI other than stock Android, Sense UI from HTC is the best and easiest user interface a consumer can get. The good looking widgets, transitions, customization options are simply unmatched by any other company. Now with the release of Android 4.0 HTC is coming up with a new version of Sense UI, Sense 4.0 for it's Ice Cream Sandwich devices.
Sense 4.0 is still not out yet but many people who have been testing it leaked out some of the main changes and features of it. Though we will be seeing devices from HTC running Sense 4.0 at the MWC in a few weeks, let's have a closer look at some of the features they offer.
Guest Mode
This is a very important feature and a must for all Android devices, I am quite surprised why Google did not make it available on board ICS, maybe in the future upgrades. So guest mode features allows you to keep multiple profiles so if you give the phone to your friend, ...

Last year was not a great year for HTC, their target profit was not achieved and also their devices were overpowered by the smartphones and tablets coming out of Samsung's camp . Partnership with Beats did not market their products to a great extent. This year they are expecting to make their device superior and more powerful, and they will be leading the charge with is the HTC Edge, a quadcore nVIDIA Tegra 3 powered beast, which they will be showcasing at MWC.
Frankly speaking I am not very excited about this device because quadcore is just a marketing strategy, though it uses 4 cortex A9 processors, the L1 and L2 cache provided is equal to the one present in Tegra 2, which means nVIDIA does not expect anyone to use more than 2 cores at a time. Also we should note that Tegra 3 is a synchronous processor which will result in the consumption loads of battery, but we hope that the fifth core will be able to help us here. Superior processing power and a really powerful GPU makes it the leading processor available in the market right now, but how long will they be able to hold this ...

The Titan II bumps the spec sheet by including integrated LTE connectivity. The screen size still is a massive 4.7" at a disappointing WVGA resolution though this remains a WP7 limitation.
The camera has been bumped up to a whopping 16 Megapixels. Backside illumination is included which should definitely help in the low light department. A fast wide-angle lens (f2.6, 28mm) is included alongside a dual LED flash. Extras like red eye reduction, image stabilization, a panorama mode for landscapes, and a burst shot mode make for HTC included additions. The rear cam takes 720p video.

The HTC Radar marks the beginning of the next generation Windows Phone 7 devices. The fledgling OS had previously failed to grab much of market share owing to its lack of several basic features including multitasking , copy paste but with Mango onboard , WP7 stands a definite chance to make a dent in the market.
The Radar is one of the first few devices to natively run Windows Phone 7.5 ie Mango on it. Lets take a deeper look at it in the FoneArena HTC Radar Review.
Hardware
One look at the HTC Radar and you will immediately recognize the design fundamentals kept in mind during the development stage. The phone hardware focuses on minimalism and does so by using a very calming color combination of white and silver. It might not jump out seeking for attention but the phone is definitely very elegant. The unibody construction of the HTC Radar is a solid combination of plastic and aluminum. The white plastic segments not only add to the aesthetics but also let the phone maintain a good signal connection.
The front of the phone is dominated by a 3.8" SLCD screen. The screen is bright and vibrant. It retains good visibility even in ...

HTC Flyer tablet Android Honeycomb 3.2 update is now rolling out in UK. This update is available for the 3G version of the HTC Flyer tablet in UK, says HTC on their HTC UK Facebook Page. HTC unveiled the Flyer tablet at MWC and confirmed the Android Honeycomb update way back in April. The HTC Flyer would come with the new tablet version of its Sense UI that is specifically designed for it.
The Wi-Fi version of the HTC Flyer tablet in Europe would receive the update soon. There are no details about the Android Honeycomb roll out for other countries as of now. HTC Flyer is now available for Rs.23,900 in India which is cheaper than the launch price. Hope the update comes to HTC Flyer tablets in India soon.

A previous infringement judgment might be dawned on HTC by patent licensing bureau IPCom, and the label might not be able to sell its product in Germany, in the upcoming holiday season. The ruling was factually made when just as a Mannheim court stated that HTC was imposing a vital mobile telephony patent that was obtained from Bosch, three years ago.
An appeal that was due to be presented in court a few days back, by HTC, but be that as it may, the Taiwanese corporation pulled out at the last moment. Asserting victory, IPCom said on Friday that it "intends to execute this injunction in the shortest possible time."

When HTC launched the 3G+WiFi of it's 7 inch Android tablet in India for Rs.39890 in June this year , we were immensely disappointed about the price tag. It was an impressive tablet with decent battery life. Now if you gave the Flyer a pass for the same reason, good news for you. The price of the tablet has been cut by almost 50%. It has now available for Rs.23900 on Flipkart and Rs.23990 on LeysBuy. Some retailers are still selling it at around Rs.35000.
Just to let you know HTC launched the Flyer at Mobile World Congress in Feb 2011. We are barely a couple of months away from MWC 2012 and we might see a new version of the Flyer at the event. So the Flyer might be reaching End-Of-Life soon.
But how many of are interested to pick up a Flyer at Rs.23900 ?

Image and specs of the new HTC phone codenamed Zeta has surfaced. According to the sources of Engadget, this device would pack in 2.5GHz APQ8064 Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU and would come with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Other specs looks similar to the HTC Edge that is rumored to be HTC's first quad-core phone that got leaked last week. This phone is said to measure 109.8mm x 60.9mm x 9.8mm and weigh 146g.
This would come with a 4.5-inch HD 720p display similar to the HTC Rezound (Vigor), 1 GB of RAM and a 8MP auto-focus camera with dual LED flash, 1080p video capture and a 1.3MP front-facing cam. It would have 32GB of Internal Storage, Bluetooth 4.0, 1,830mAh battery and would also feature HTC Sense 4.0 UI and Beats Audio.
The design is completely different from the earlier HTC phones but it would have uni-body back. It is not clear if this is a concept device or a phone that HTC has been working on for next year.

We also had the HTC Radar which is a close match to the 710 in terms of specifications and target market.
Click through to check out some comparative images and our thoughts on the two.
The Nokia 710 feels like a mid range device through and through. This is compounded by the fully plastic construction of the phone. In comparison the HTC Radar follows a unibody design philosophy making liberal use of aluminum along with elegant while plastic panels.
Owing to the aluminum construction , the Radar is however heavier than the 710. Over all , we'd rate the HTC Radar higher in the looks department.
Both phones come with 5MP camera units capable of auto focus and 720p video. While we cannot comment on the image quality of the 710 without a full review , you can get a better idea of the camera on the Radar by reading our review.
As can be seen above , the 710 is just a bit thicker than the Radar. The 710 however feels just as comfortable if not more than the Radar when held in hand. The gently curve of ...

HTC to unveil their first Quad-Core Tegra 3 Android tablet at MWC 2012, according to a Chinese Newspaper report.
The HTC Sensation XL isn't the most exciting smartphones currently on the market. But it is one of the few devices that comes with a massive 4.7" display. If you are the type of person who finds the original HTC Sensation small, then this may be the device for you.
The single core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC doesn't exactly scream exciting, but the 1.5GHz Scorpion CPU combined Adreno 205 GPU is fast enough for Android Gingerbread and the majority of apps available for it. 768MB of RAM is included, which is plenty of multi-tasking purposes though falls short of flagships by Samsung and Motorola with their 1GB RAM.
The 4.7" Super LCD display has a resolution of 480x800. Granted, a qHD or 720p resolution would probably be more suited for a screen this size, but the screen looks sharp nevertheless. Colours are well saturated and the contrast ratio is good for a LCD display. The capacitive touchscreen offers good all around sensitivity.
Below the screen lies four of the standard Android hardware keys, and above it the ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and 1.3MP front camera. The micro USB port is located on the left side of the device while the right side only contains a single volume rocker. The power button and 3.5mm headphone ...

According to the Pocketnow sources, HTC Edge might be the world's first mobile phone powered by quad-core processor. They have also posted an image of the phone (above). This would come with a 4.7-inch HD 720p display similar to the HTC Rezound (Vigor). It would be 10mm thick.
Other features of the phone would include, 1 GB of RAM, 8MP auto focus camera with flash and 28-millimeter wide-angle, f/2.2 lens. It would feature AP30 Tegra 3 CPU from Nvidia, which offers four 1.5GHz cores compared Rezound's 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm CPU. It would have 32GB of Internal Storage, Bluetooth 4.0 and would also feature Beats Audio.
It would also come with the improved HTC content services such as, HTC Listen music store, HTC Read bookstore, and HTC Play gaming hub. The HTC Watch movie portal will be offering HD content and it might also be the first phone with Sense 4.0 UI.
There would offer 21Mbps HSDPA connectivity and there is no mention of LTE support. The version of the Android still not mentioned. In would likely run on the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), otherwise the upgrade would be available in future.

HTC just broadcasted all over their Facebook fan page that they plan to update as many HTC devices to Ice Cream Sandwich as possible *tears of joy*. Modernizing their devices with the latest applications is the most rudimentary step for consumer loyalty, and being leading Android makers, HTC wants to do just that.
This is what they had to say: “Since Google unveiled Ice Cream Sandwich earlier this week, HTC has been looking closely at the new OS’s features and functionality to determine our upgrade plans. We’re a recognized industry leader in providing fast and consistent upgrades to our Android devices and Ice Cream Sandwich will be no different.
Upgrades require a careful balance of hardware and software to ensure the best possible performance and usability, so please stay tuned as we assess our product portfolio. Our goal is to upgrade as many HTC devices as possible and we’ll be sharing details on specific devices and timing in the coming weeks!

Sprint's updated page does not mention Mango but the additional features mentioned clearly shows that it is Mango. If you got HTC Arrive then your phone should show an update, if it does not then you can check for an update by going to settings and tapping on Phone and then update. If you still don't get the update then you can wait and try again. Once you get the update you can connect your phone to the PC, switch on Zune, go to settings, phone and then update. If you own the HTC Arrive and have updated your device to Windows Phone 7.5 then tell us what you think about it in our comments section.
