LG has announced Band Play, the company’s latest smartphone in Korea. It has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Laser Auto Focus and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has 4G LTE connectivity. Google Android One expands to Myanmar

Google has expanded its Android One program to Myanmar, which becomes the eighth country to get Android One smartphones officially after India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines and Turkey. Google has partnered with Cherry Mobile to launch the Cherry Mobile One smartphone in the country.

BlackBerry and Cisco sign long-term patent cross-licensing agreement

BlackBerry has announced that it has entered into a long-term patent cross-licensing agreement covering their respective products and technologies. As a part of this cross-licensing agreement, BlackBerry will receive a license fee from Cisco. These companies have not revealed how long the long-term agreement will last and also said that terms of the deal are confidential.

Uros, a Finnish company introduced Goodspeed Mobile Hotspot which is a 3G hotspot with 10 SIM card slots. Today the company has launched new Goodspeed MF900 4G mobile hotspot in partnership with ZTE. This is the world’s first commercially available 4G hotspot that can accommodate and switch automatically between 10 SIM cards, said the company. Samsung might not launch an Edge variant with the Galaxy Note 5 this year
