OnePlus just launched its flagship OnePlus 3 smartphone globally, including India at its VR event. It has a 5.5-inch 1080 Optic AMOLED display and 0.75mm slim bezels on the sides and also has 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a 2.15GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with Oxygen OS 3.0.2. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) for quick focus in 0.2 seconds, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), RAW image support, manual mode and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

Airtel launches Open Network microsite for customers to check network coverage/signal strength

Airtel announced network transformation program – Project Leap last year, aimed at improving network quality. Later it launched a microsite so that all the customers can see the network coverage for voice, basic data services (2G) and high speed data services (3G/ 4G) in their regions. Today it has launched open network microsite under Project Leap that will allow customers to check if the Airtel mobile network in an area is excellent, good, moderate or non-existent, along with the status of corresponding sites serving the area – existing, required, being upgraded or forcibly shut down. It has a ruggedised magnesium alloy body and is shock resistant that can withstand drop from 120cm and is also dust and water resistant with IP65 ratings. It has a 10.1-inch WUXGA display, is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8550 Processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with support for Android for work. It has a fanless design, is 16.4mm and weighs 880g.
