LG G6 Moroccan Blue, Lavender Violet, Raspberry Rose and LG Q6 Moroccan Blue, Lavender Violet color variants announced

After rumors, LG has announced new color variants for its flagship LG G6 and the mid-range LG Q6 smartphones in Korea. The LG G6 gets Moroccan Blue, Lavender Violet and Raspberry Rose color variants. This comes after the new Raspberry Rose color variant for the LG V30 that was introduced earlier this month and the other two color variants are already available for the V30. The new Raspberry Rose color variants of the phones will be a perfect gift for Valentine’s Day that is coming next month, says LG.

Vivo Xplay7 renders, specifications surface – 4K bezel-less display, Snapdragon 845, 10GB RAM, 4x optical zoom

Vivo introduced its flagship Xplay6 smartphone with 5.46-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 6GB RAM and dual rear cameras back in 2016. The company did not introduce its successor last year, now renders of the upcoming Xplay7 has surfaced along with a PPT revealing rumored specifications of the phone. Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ renders surface again

Last week first renders of the upcoming Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus smartphones surfaced online. Now new renders of the smartphones have surfaced showing the back with rear camera with fingerprint sensor below them along with branding, thanks to dBrand who has already started taking pre-orders for the skins for the phones.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, the company’s next flagship smartphones in the ‘Galaxy S’ series have finally surfaced in press image ahead of official announcement at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona next month, thanks to @evleaks. Only the front part of the smartphones have been revealed, which look similar to the S8 series with Infinity display, minimal bezels and a bunch of sensors on the top. Reliance Jio launches Rs. 49 pack with free voice calls, 28 days validity for JioPhone users

Reliance Jio unveiled JioPhone, the company’s first VoLTE feature phone back in July last year and started pre-bookings for the phone in August. It launched Rs. 153 plan exclusively for JioPhone users offering free voice calls and 500MB data per day with 28 days validity offering 14GB data. LG posts its biggest-ever revenue, highest yearly profits in 8 years in 2017; narrows smartphone losses in Q4 2017

LG Electronics has reported revenues of 16.96 trillion won (US$ 15.3 billion) for the fourth quarter that ended December 31, 2017, which is up 14.8% compared to the same quarter last year. For the whole 2017 it reported record 61.4 trillion won (US$ 55.4 billion) revenues, up 10.9% YoY and profits of 2.47 trillion won (US$ 2.23 billion) – the highest profit since 2009 – up 85% from 2016 due in large part to strong performance by premium home appliances and TVs. Vivo X20 Plus UD with in-display fingerprint sensor announced

Vivo has announced X20 Plus UD with in-display fingerprint sensor in China, as it had promised. The smartphone shares similar specifications as the original X20 Plus, but it has in-display fingerprint scanner instead of fingerprint sensor on the back so that users unlock the smartphone through one-touch fingerprint scanning directly on the display.

iOS 11.3 to bring new Animoji, Health records, Battery status, ARKit Improvements and more

Apple today announced iOS 11.3 and previewed some of its features. The update will bring four new Animoji – lion, bear, dragon and skull for the iPhone X, ARKit 1.5 to developers to offer even more immersive AR experiences to recognize and place virtual objects on vertical surfaces like walls and doors, and more accurately map irregularly shaped surfaces like circular tables for next-generation AR apps.
