OPPO to launch new Reno series smartphone on April 10

OPPO has announced that it will launch a smartphone under new Reno series on April 10th. This is rumored to be the company’s flagship smartphone, after the Find X series, and some reports say that it will replace the R series. OPPO says that this is not a sub-brand like the Realme that later became a separate brand. It is rumored to pack a Snapdragon 855 SoC, 10X hybrid optical zoom and a 4065mAh battery.

Xiaomi Mi A2 gets another price cut in India, now available for Rs. 11999

Xiaomi launched the Mi A2, the company’s second Android One smartphone in India back in August last year starting at Rs. 16,999, later it got a Rs. 1000 price cut in November, and a Rs. 2000 price cut in the country in January this year. Today it has received third price cut oin the country, and is available for Rs. 11,999, after a Rs. 2000 price cut. This price cut is only for the 4GB+64GB version, and the 6GB+128GB version is available at original rate of Rs. 15,999.  The smartphone is available at new rate on Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi Home stores as well as Mi Preferred partner stores.

Vivo X27 Pro with 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 8GB RAM, triple rear cameras and Vivo S1 surface

We already know that Vivo is all set to introduce the X27 smartphone with triple rear cameras and a pop-up front camera in China on March 19th. Now images and specifications of the X27 Pro has surfaced. This shows a 32-megapixel pop-up camera along with flash, and a larger 6.7-inch FHD+ display with 93.16% screen-to-body ratio. As you can see in the image, the triple rear camera placement is in the middle in the X27 Pro.

LG G8 ThinQ pre-orders begin this week starting from Korea, price revealed

LG unveiled its flagship  G8 ThinQ smartphone at its MWC event last month. Today the company has announced that it will begin pre-orders for the phone starting from Korea from March 15th till March 21st at a price of 897,600 Korean Won (US$ 790 / Rs. 55,280 approx.), which it says is the lowest price tag ever for a flagship LG smartphone. It will go on sale starting from March 22nd and alsocomes with 1-year free screen replacement and a free case as a part of launch offer.

BlackBerry Wireless Charger launched in India for Rs. 2499

Optiemus Infracom, BlackBerry brand licensee has launched BlackBerry branded wireless charger in India. It is compatible with smartphones with USB type-C input on Android, Apple and QI-enabled smartphones that allow wireless charging. It has a non-slip charging surface the company says that it will charge upto 25% in just 60 minutes since this is just 5W. HUAWEI P smart+ 2019 with 6.21-inch FHD+ display, triple rear cameras, Android Pie announced

After the P Smart 2019 in December, Huawei has silently introduced the P Smart+ 2019 mid-range smartphone. It has  the same 6.21-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio, around 90% screen-to-body ratio, Kirin 710 SoC with 3GB RAM, support for GPU Turbo 2.0 and  Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.0 on top, but this has a 24-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for AI portraits and AI scene detection and a 16-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro Benchmarks – Snapdragon 675 11nm Mobile Platform

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India last week starting at Rs. 13,999. We already brought you the first impressions and the camera samples, here we have the benchmarks.  The phone is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 64-bit 11nm Mobile Platform that has two Cortex A76-based Kryo 460 CPUs clocked at 2GHz per core and other six Cortex A55 Kryo 460 CPUs are clocked at 1.7GHz per core, comes with Adreno 612 GPU with support for Open GL ES 3.2, Open CL 2.0, as well as Vulkan graphics and up to 6GB of RAM, however we have the 4GB RAM version. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro Camera Samples

Xiaomi launched the  Redmi Note 7 Pro under the new Redmi branding in India last week starting at Rs. 13,999. We already brought you the first impressions of the phone, here we have the camera samples from the phone. The phone packs a 48-megapixel primary rear camera with single LED Flash, f/1.79 aperture, 1/2.0″ Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, 6P lens has support for PDAF, EIS along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera to capture depth information in portrait shots. It has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Vivo Y91i with 6.22-inch Halo FullView display, 4030mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 7990

After the launch of Y91, Vivo has launched Y91i, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘Y series’ in India, which was introduced as Y91C in several countries. It has the same 6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio Halo FullView display, is powered by Helio P22 Octa-Core 12nm SoC, 2GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.5, 8-megapixel front camera with support for face unlock, but this comes with a single 13-megapixel rear camera and lacks a fingerprint sensor.
