Samsung Galaxy Tab features a seven-inch portable screen, video calling, full-web browsing functions, and is powered by Android 2.2. Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 which was codenamed as the Shakira was announced in Singapore in June 2010. Now its available in India for a price tag of Rs.13900. Xperia X8 looks like X10mini but it have a larger 3″ capacitive scratch resistant touchscreen. It runs on Android 1.6 and powered by a 600MHZ processor and 1200 mAh battery. It features the Timescape and four corner homescreen as the Xperia Series. It have a phone memory of 128MB and MicroSD support (up to 16 GB).
As we reported before that the Google has announced that its now allowing developers to offer paid versions of their apps on the Android Market in 18 new countries including India. This morning i have been checking through android market for new applications. I have found that the Google have brought the paid apps to India. Nexus one got OTA update FRG83 which updates the Android Version to 2.2.1. The OTA update is 3.9mb in size. The OTA update comes with important bug fixes and security patches. The notable security fix is Google have disabled the one click root in Nexus One. The OTA update is having issues with swype and other third party keyboards. The touch wiz 3.0 adds more eye candy to the Bada operating system. The music player of Samsung Wave is awesome when the display is rotated horizontally. Nokia and T-Mobile USA today announced the new Business class device for the T-Mobile customers called the “E73 Mode”. The E73 Mode is a business class device which is little different from the Nokia E72. The Nokia E73 Mode comes with a Symbian Series 60 Feature Pack 2, full QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera with flash and autofocus, Wi-Fi for voice and data, long battery life and e-mail access, a full HTML Web browser, media player and more. The Nokia E73 Mode supports T-Mobile’s fast 3G network. The Nokia E73 Mode is expected to be available on June 16th through T-Mobile retail stores.
