Nokia 2710 Navigation Edition Cheapest Navigation Phone

The world’s leading mobile phone maker, Nokia has unveiled its most affordable GPS-enabled phone Nokia 2710 pre-loaded with Nokia maps. The mobile has device-based mapping so that it can be used for directions even without data connection.

Nokia 2710′s basic features includes 2.2-inch display, 2-megapixel camera, 3.5mm headphone socket, supports Quadband GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 and an FM radio. This mobile is powered by a 1020mAh Li-Ion battery, which is good for some 6 hours of navigation.

The handset has been optimized for use across urban environments, small towns, as well as rural areas. It includes both turn-by-turn driving directions with voice guidance and point-to-point straight line navigation with a digital compass. This straight line technology allows people a comprehensive range of mobile navigation capabilities for use across pathless terrains.

The 2710 Navigation Edition is powered by Series 40 6th Edition

The expected price of the Nokia 2710 Navigation Edition will be 110 euros or Rs.7500 in India and it is expected to come to the market for sale in the second quarter of 2010.
