Alcatel OneTouch has unveiled three new LTE smartphones in the Pop series, the Pop S3, Pop S7 and the Pop S9. It has also unveiled the Pixi 7, a 7-inch WiFi-only tablet. The Pop S3 has a 4-inch WVGA screen, S7 has a 5-inch qHD IPS screen and the Pop S9 comes with a 5.9-inch HD IPS screen. All these are powered by quad-core processors.
The Pop S3 and the Pop S7 have a 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera and 4GB of internal storage. The Pop S3 has 512MB RAM, 2000 mAh battery and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). The Pop S7 comes with 1GB RAM, runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and a 3000 mAh battery.
The Pop S9 has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and a 3400 mAh battery.
The Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 7 tablet has a 7-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. It has 0.3-megapixel front and rear cameras, 512 MB / 1GB RAM options, 4GB of internal storage and has a memory card slot, similar to the phones. It packs a 2840 mAh with up to 4 hours browsing time.
The Pop S7 and Pop S9 come in Mellow Yellow, Soft Blue, Urban Haze, Cream Tangerine and Cream Pink colors and are priced at 189 Euros (Rs. 16,089 approx) and 219 Euros ( Rs. 18,660 approx), respectively. The Pop S3 have colorful back covers. The Pixi 7 tablet comes in Bluish Black and Gun Gray colors and is priced at 79 Euros (Rs. 6,730 approx).
