ZTE, a leading Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has a booth at the MWC 2014 event in Barcelona and they are showcasing their latest smartphones. ZTE had launched a mini version of their flagship – ZTE Nubia 5S sometime in December and now, they are here at MWC 2014 to showcase the products to global consumers.

The specifications of the ZTE Nubia 5S Mini are as follows –

  • 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU
  • Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS with Mifavour UI 2.0
  • 13MP auto focus camera with LED Flash, 1080p HD video recording
  • 5MP front-facing camera
  • 7.6mm thick and weighs 120 grams
  • 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 32GB with micro SD
  • 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (Dual Band), GPS/aGPS
  • 2000 mAh battery

The specifications of the ZTE Nubia 5S Mini are quite good for a Mini device and it aims to compete with the best in the market. Specs apart, the design and build quality of the ZTE Nubia 5S Mini are quite good. The device feels solid and is surprisingly thin. Despite a plastic body, the device is solid, but is prone to scratches and fingerprints. The ZTE Nubia 5S Mini is available in Red, Yellow, Blue and Green colors.
