i might buy a Videocon mobile but the basic one. When it comes to spending big money for a smartphone the choice undoubtely will be the one like Nokia and Samsung.

I will be very happy if vediocon will ready to make their handsets in india ie. it is purely made in india along with battery and everything.

I’ll b very proud to purchase the videocon mobile as it is made in india…
Videocon is already a very well-esteemed and well-known company in india as well in some other country too…
But if really videocon wants to make the good buisness in this mobile company then here is my hearty suggestion(as i’m the consumer i know what is mostly required in the mobile to the other consumers) to mr.anil that give some extra features like copy, paste option, minimizing option, extra software supporting features, etc..
In low cost b’coz already there are many companies in competition..
These r few things the videocon should follow in order to make the name of videocon at the top (yes top) i meant before nokia..

But Sir, let me tell you that Videocon is selling the China mobiles under it’s brand name. I was planning to buy a Videocon set, but today when I went to a mobile shop I was very much disappointed to know Videocon is also selling China made cheap mobile phones. I found the manufacturer name and address in the box itself(which was a very unknown company and address of China).

Please dont buy videocon mobile all function r china………..i purchase mobile 1 week ago…….waist v 1604 it is dabba phone……..no other game support for this mobile no java game support…camera clearity is also not good just like 1.3 mega pixel….and all function in china mobile it is remodification of china mobile……please dont buy this mobile otherwise u r money waist

Videocon mobile is a good mobile of indian MF and v1604 is a good clarity . Big screen . Music player . 8 gp expandable memory .also wap GPRS . Rs.4294 univercell cost

No its a videocon’s mobile which is just launched in india ya but 80% of indians treat these kind of mobile as chinese only coz theese are new mobile brands for india. but they have good sales in other countries. very soon this videocon will rock!!!!

As far as manufacturing is concerned all cells are not manufactured in china .. For example , nokia is manufacturing phones in chennai also through a contract manufacturer .. So please don’t get confused yourself . As a consumer i am not worried where my mobile is manufactured, be it china , philipines , taiwan , korea , india or anywhere else .. What Roy ment was although This particular company sell mobile with their Brand name , the actual owner is an unknown chinese company who does the product development . These guys just put their logo in that chinese phone and sell as if it is their product

I loved these phone. I loved the business phone but its costly for me… Nywys why do we always go for Nokia coz we had given Nokia a chance when it was new, we started liking it after that. Than why not given a chance to Videocon (apna company). I love videocon Tv’s and am damn sure phone would do great if we change our mentality.
I wish they get more phone with Wi-Fi enable. Guys plz help your conutry to grow, if we will not buy our brand then who would & then we say India is just a developing country it cant be at US position.

I will recommend everyone to buy this & my sis wants to buy a new phone I would suggest her this.

I’ve bought V1604 a week ago, its just AMAZING. Some people do say it is chinese but i truely disagree as its a genuinely an indian company! regarding features they are just superb, battery back up is OK, camera is ok. but friends believe me for price RS 4,250/- i dont think you can ever get such a phone. IF you claim Nokia/Samsung/Sonyerricson are better aslo remember you are paying double cost for the same Phone!! think, you are wise, its your money, your decision!!

Whos claiming that these fones are being manufactured in india is misguding i have seen at least all the videocon models and all of them are chines sets ,maufactured in china imported by videocon pls dont misguide anyone on public forum.

Videocon mobiles r not bad,I bought a v1655 touch screen phn for just rs.5800 and its pretty good.The screen size is good,the sound quality is awesaome,specially the earplugs r SE type.But the cam sucks big time.But apart from this overall the phn is good,dual standby is also working fine.But I dont think it supports java,so options for java based games arent there,but on the other hand it supports nes games…thats cool though.

I bought v1602 1 month ago. For first two week the phone needs to be charged twice in a week. Now I have to charge in every alternate days!!! The main problem with this phone is its mic. I have to shout to I speak on this phone. Headphone is also bad to listen songs/radio.

If you want to buy a cheap chinese, go for Videocon. The brand name is just a fake.

I purchased 1675 recently. Its battery is taking 8/9 hrs to charge fully. voice quality is poor (cant hear properly), trackpad is worst. I will never suggest anybody to go for it.

Agree with u…. phones r not manufactured by Videocon ,,, its absolutely run of the mill chinese product even the software n icons are same to that of lemon or Karbon …Bought 2 weeks back,,,, loooks very good but thats end of story touch pad is hypersensetive very difficult to handel during crunch time…while scrolling on ph book max 2 names can be seen at one go…. over all i felt cheated

Recently i purchased v1655 on dated 29/05/2010 and the touch screen is having problem the complete display is wash out.
it happened when i reached my office at 03/06/2010 the screen is blank,
when i recached at service center they told me the screen is damaged i shocked how it will damaged inside the pocket.
i think the product is very cheep the quality of fone is wrost, this is my 7th handset in my life & this is one of the wrost phone i ever seen in my life (poor & cheep quality).
i think the chinees mobile phones without guarntee are better than videcon mobile phones.

service support is quite bad. service at salem himself rues why he had taken servicing of videocon mobiles with so many complaints unresolvable coming in.

i beg beseech: please dont go for videocon mobiles and then suffer.

We were too influenced by the reviews videocon phone was getting and bought two sets(v1405 and v1425) on 13th and 18th of may.
the “mobile of the year “and the tripple sim mobile had problem of voice and network from day one. The complaint was evaded by planet m for couple of days,to avoid exchange!
The phone were given for repair on 23rd and 24th, no follow up was done by planet m as promised.and after repeted visits, the most wierdest of reply was that VIDEOCON SEVICE CENTRE HAS NOT GOT THE SPARE PARTS!!!

CALLED VIDEOCON CUSTOMER CARE for n number of time and the call was always put on hold, never attended
and the mails unreplied.
the mobile is still there after 15 days, we have got no clue whatsoever abt the fate of the mobile.
HOPE THIS IS HEARD AND SOMETHING IS DONE TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY AND SERVICE OF VIDEOCON PHONES

i deposite my fone in videcon service center from last 20days still it is not repaired, & they are not given me any satisfied answer regarding the phone.
so it is better to purchase china fone used it and throw it, no harrasment just like videcon service provider.

Problem 1: My new v1605 which I got for around 5100 last week stopped working yesterday. When I went to the service center, they said that a pin breaked from within and they would charge me 80% of the amount I paid to buy this phone. They confirmed tht a lot of phones are having this problem but still I have to pay to get it repaired. (I surely think tht ths phone is not worth 5100 + 80% ~ 9000)
Problem 2: Couldn’t play videos in .avi & .3gp right from day 1. (Irony: Name = “Video Con”)

My feedback – AVOID THESE PHONES else wud lose time, money & peace of mind!!!

Please do not buy videocon touch mobiles. I recently purchased V1750, nasty phone ever seen or known. You touch one and some thing opens.

V7500 is really good, All its Android Apps are awesum. I have seen it and its performance as a Smartphone is Awesum. The Looks are Very Good and I compared it with LG Optimus. It scores over LG in some areas and ZEUS V7500 will be upgraded to Android 2.1 soon however there is no fixed Date for LG Optimus Upgradation. Go for Videocon Zeus V7500

Videocon Mobile V1602 I bought 3k, but “videocon dual sim mobile v1602″ is not good as China mobile in the same cost. “videocon dual sim mobile v1602″ software is same what china mobile have. “videocon dual sim mobile v1602″ is using morethan 3 mints “videocon dual sim mobile v1602″ is heating my ear. “videocon dual sim mobile v1602″ change the logo, not in Quality.

You are correct, I gave my fone to service center at the very next day of purchase they never fixed the problem and they, said issue is fixed but when I went to service center nothing is fixed infact brand new mobile has many scratches, I found that they completly changed the pannel.

i ve got zeus V7500 somewhat a week ago…. its beautiful.. build quality is good… touch is very sensitive with multi touch support infact better then galaxy 3…it has got a good screen resolution…got loads of bundled items (car charger, two battery and how can i forgot 8gb memory card)…it has got number of sensors which works perfect..aesthetic is amazing..applications are awesome… worth to buy..m satified.. just for Rs. 10800/-

- Almost no battery backup
- Headfone never works fine
- Charging port fails and then this mobile is for throw only
- Sound quality is very bad
- Not good for using internet
- Do not support for vedios . It’s upto ones luck if he is able to play the videos

Mean total wastage of money. Better to have second hand china mobile and i am sure it will work fine

Never go for purchase the Vediocon mobiles of any series ohter wise u will regret one day after purchasign this bad mobile..
