Asus Transformer Book Duet TD300 Hands on


The original Asus Transformer tablet was a very interesting product as it was one of the first multiple usage device that could be used as a tablet as well as a laptop. However, the Transformer series has failed to make a commercial impact so far and Asus is not losing heart yet. At CES 2014, they announced another Transformer device – the Transformer Book Duet tablet/laptop that runs both Android and Windows 8.1. Unlike the other Transformer tablets that featured the best of mobile processors, the latest Transformer Book Duet features the best from the PC processors and you can configure your Transformer Book Duet upto Intel i7 processor. There is 4GB DDR3 RAM and you can have upto 1TB internal storage thanks to the HDD on the docking station.

The tablet part along is equipped with SSD for super fast performance. The best thing about the Asus Transformer Book Duet is that it can switch between Android and Windows 8 seemlessly at the touch of a button.

The tablet is docked on to the keyboard station that comes with a very well spaced out keyboard and a lot of connectivity ports. It also houses an option internal storage space, however, we miss the extra battery life that it usually offers.
