Symbian gets Spotified!

Spotify has announced the availability of the Music Application on the Symbian platform phones from Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson.

“Today we’re delighted to announce the launch of Spotify for Symbian,” says Spotify on its website.

Spotify allows you to get unlimited music streaming on your mobile phone, with a premium Spotify account through Wi-Fi or regular internet.

At the moment, 21 handsets of Nokia are supported including the ones with Nokia’s Comes with Music application such as the 5320, 5530 and 5800 XpressMusic phones.  The devices from other companies that are supported are Sony Ericsson Satio, Samsung OMNIA HD and i7110.

Spotify is also available for the Apple iPhone and Android devices.
