WhatsApp for iPhone finally gets iOS 7 refresh


WhatsApp for iPhone v2.11.5

WhatsApp has finally updated the iPhone app with a new iOS 7 interface. The v2.11.5 update also brings a new app icon, Broadcast lists that lets you share messages with multiple contacts at once, Large thumbnails for images, New notification alerts, better UI to manage blocked contacts, option to crop an image before sending and lots more. New features in WhatsApp for iPhone v2.11.5 

  • New iOS 7 User Interface
  • Broadcast lists: communicate with your classmates, work colleagues or just friends by messaging many people at once.
  • Improved share location: 3D map view, hide places, search places
  • Large thumbs: see more
  • New notification alerts and sounds: WhatsApp Settings > Notifications > New Message.
  • Application will now use your device text size as configured in iOS Settings > General > Text Size
  • New improved User Interface for managing your blocked contacts: WhatsApp Settings > Chat Settings > Blocked
  • Crop image before sending

WhatsApp moved to subscription-based model on the iOS platform earlier this year, so new users can use the service for free for the first year, after that $0.99 would be charged for every year.
