Aircel has launched Paanch ka Dum, a unique voice pack for Andhra Pradesh customers. It costs just Rs. 5 and would lets the consumers gets select any one of the voice benefit – community calling 5AM to 5PM free, community calling – 1p/ 6 seconds, Half paise local calls, Half paise Local + STD Call and ISD. Customers can dial 15105 to activate the pack and the pack is also available on paper recharge.Idea Cellular launched a similar kind of pack earlier this year called Choice Recharge that lets you choose Calling, SMS, Local Mobile Minutes and Data.
The company said that they data usage is almost double in the market compared to last year and the data revenues in AP has also been doubled. It also revealed that over 45% of their consumers are using data in the circle.
