Xolo launched the A500S in the A Series back in August. Now the company has launched XOLO X-Themes app exclusively for the Xolo A500S. It comes with 6 pre-installed themes and users can download 5 more themes online through the Xolo X-Themes app. Xolo has added the incredible Hulk theme recently, and you also get instant notification on availability of new online themes. This lets you personalize the entire Ui of the phone including the lock screen.
The Xolo A500S has a 4-inch WVGA display, powered by the latest 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek 6572W chipand runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 720p video recording and has a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby.
Here is the procedure to use the X-Themes app
- Launch X-Themes app and choose local or online tab.
- To apply any pre-installed theme, click on the theme to preview and then click on “apply skin”
- For online themes, users can click on theme to preview and then tap on “install Skin” tab that re-directs to Google Play store to install the theme.
- Once the theme is installed from Google play store, it will appear in the Local tab and can be applied easily, as mentioned above.
The Xolo X-Themes app comes pre-installed on all the new A500s smartphones and the existing customers would also get an OTA update for that bring the app. It is also available from the Google Play Store for the A500S users. Xolo extended the support for Xolo Power and Xolo Secure apps for more Xolo smartphones, hope they would bring the X-Themes app to more smartphones soon.
