Nokia X6 Photo Gallery: 5800XM Comparison & BH-505 Mixing

on December 3, 2009 – 4:13 pm10 Comments

Nokia’s recently announced X6 music device might have failed to gain a lot of attention at Nokia World 2009, due to the spectacular success of the Nokia N900, and its limited availability with Comes With Music service, but it still is a great solution for those who want a nice capactive touchscreen, S60 5th Edition, and 32GBs of built-in memory. The X6 also has a GPS receiver, a good 5MP camera, a nice interactive homescreen with contacts, applications, email and calendar showing up, kinetic scrolling widely implemented, HSDPA internet speeds…

Here are some comparison pictures next to its oldest sibling, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, showing that the X6 is a bit longer but the same width, and much thinner. Both devices have the same connectors and keys at the same locations in all sides, except for the X6 not having an external microSDHC port due to its already integrated 32GB memory. The X6 also doesn’t come with any stylus, since its capacitive touchscreen doesn’t function with styluses, but only with finger touches.

Following, are a couple more pictures of the X6 with Nokia’s newly announced around-the-neck BH-505 bluetooth headset. You can clearly see that both of these gadgets have a very similar coloring and style, and that they go very well together.

This X6 phone is looking very good but it doesn’t have a microSD card slot.
What’s the price of that Nokia BH-505 Bluetooth headset in India?

It already have 32 GB inbuilt memory. There is no need of memory card slot.

32GB is good, but what happen when your phone is dead? All of you 32GB data stored inside the phone will be lost. It is much better too buy a phone that come with a memory card slot. The 32GB microSD is available in the market.

I’m a very big Nokia fan.

onboard memory is much, much faster. Plus, you only put stuff on there that you’ve transferred from your computer anyway, right (so you have a “backup” on your computer)?

Nokia BH-505 is launched in India?
can anyone confirm that and what is price?
    from where you bought it?

It is Good to see Better Touch Screen version of Nokia is available. But it is necessary for Nokia to keep the price line low. Mind, Videocon is also in Handset Market, have Big Marketing Experience in India, also have Windows Mobile. Will X-6 Music fight with iPod? Nokia MUST bring Windows soon.

it’s a nice looking phone.every feature is too good but there are two problems with this phone. First of all it’s high price then nokia would be unable to fight with samsung’s low price phone with such features, second problem is there is no memory card slot with, imagine when phone will totally out of order

That’s right. The phone is too expensive and no external memory slot (microSD). This phone is almost the same just like Nokia 5800 XM except it comes with a better shape, 5 megapixel camera, and very large internal memory.
But for some people that they don’t have a computer to make a backup, all the data stored inside the phone internal memory will be lost forever if the phone is totally dead!
