HTC Desire 500 officially launched in India for Rs. 21490

HTC has officially launched the Desire 500, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the Desire series. It went on sale in India online earlier this week and packs a 4.3-inch  (480 × 800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with Sense 5.  It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and BSI sensor and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. It has BlinkFeed and Video Highlight features and has dual SIM support.

At the launch, Faisal Siddiqui Country Head HTC India said,

The HTC Desire 500 is priced at an MOP of Rs. 21,490, and the MRP of the phone is Rs. 24,290. It is now available across India.
