samsung_sgh_i900.jpgSamsung SGH-i900 might be an iPhone killer Touch screen phones are increasingly getting popular among consumers. The popularity of mobile handsets with touch screens was mainly driven by phones like the P990i from Sony Ericsson and then came the God of all touch screen phones, the iPhone, which took the market by storm. Samsung, it seems, is also putting all efforts in launching intuitive touch screen phones. They launched the 5 meg camera F490 and now the company’s SGH-i900 is leaked, this touch screen is touted as the iPhone killer not because its has intuitive touch screen, I mean that is there, but this baby has GPS and 3G, which the iPhone still does not have. The phone is supposed to have 3.5-inch touch screen display with a 240 x 400 pixels resolution, Windows Mobile 6.1 OS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.0, 5 mega pixel camera, and 7.2 Mbps HSDPA. Might be launched at the Mobile World Congress 2008, lets see. By the way it seems Samsung’s R&D is working more and more on touch screens.
