LG Optimus G2 leaks again in clear images and video

LG Optimus G2 is almost confirmed to be unveiled on August 7th in New York. Even though there were several leaks, now Engadget has posted clear images of the functioning device . The image shows the 5.2-inch phone with a extremely thin bezel and the second image shows a new lockscreen feature. The LG branding is on the bottom and the phones doesn’t have any capacitive touch buttons below the display. The phone doesn’t have any  physical buttons around the chassis except for the micro USB port on the bottom.

On back, just below the camera there is a volume rocker that also controls the camera zoom. The power button is present in between the volume buttons. The phone has a LED flash and is rumored to be come with a 13-megapixel module. According to earlier rumors the phone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.3 GHz paired with 2GB RAM. The phone is likely to head to Sprint since it has network options. The phone would run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). Some of the images also shows off the launcher, camera UI and one of LG’s various lockscreen options. We still don’t have the battery capacity and the memory yet.

Optimus G2 (LG D803) has also surfaced in a video that shows off the phone’s hardware.
