Nokia Chat 1.1 Beta for Lumia

Nokia has updated the Chat Beta for Lumia Windows Phone devices to version 1.1 that brings Tap+Send (NFC) sharing between Lumia phones to share details of anyone on your chat contact list. This update brings option to share a place in chat that offers touchable map preview with links to place details, directions, and reviews, powered by HERE Maps. It also has improvements and support for more countries. The app lets you chat with Nokia Chat and Yahoo! Messenger users.

New features in Nokia Chat 1.1 Beta for Lumia

  • Tap+Send (NFC) Between Lumia Phones – Tap+send your chat address, the details of anyone on your chat contact list, and Nokia Chat itself to another NFC-equipped Lumia.
  • Share a Place to others with touchable map preview, links to place details, directions, and reviews that are powered by HERE Maps.
  • In a conversation with many messages, older messages are initially hidden and automatically become visible as you move up-screen, into your chat history.
  • Message bubbles are now evenly spaced, allowing you to see more of a conversation on a single screen.
  • Enhanced Login that lets you login using existing chat address.
  • Support for more Countries - Hong Kong, Macao, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, and Pakistan

More countries will be added in the future, promises the Nokia Chat Team. Get the Nokia Chat for Lumia from the Windows Phone Store (Opens only on devices).
