Samsung Star Mobile Phone Sales Exceed 5 Million

Samsung Star is turnning out to be a SuperStar for Korean handset maker Samsung with sales exceeding 5 Million Units in barely 3 months.Samsung star is the cheapest one and the first one to get released among the touchwiz series of handsets. Its sleek squared shape design with chic black color completes touch style.Comes with mobile widgets that customize screen with embedded widgets such as clock, scheduler, and other useful apps.Also offers enhanced camera features, MP3 player, FM radio with RDS and a great internet experience with full browser support.

Price of the phone is one of the main reasons behind the success and its currently being sold for around Rs.9000 in India.It is the fastest model in Samsung’s history to reach the milestone.Samsung eyes sales to reach 10 million globally by November. Touch phones are doing really well. LG Arena has sold 1 million units and Nokia 5800 too had great sales.

    Yeah price is the main working thing here. One of my friend recently got one just because she wanted touchscreen and this one was within her budget.

    I want to buy a phone which should be good to use and should be cheap mine budjet is 8 to 9000. I like the phone like lg cookie, star and of samsung.

    I have this phone, nice screen but does not have software available to search the music files in music player… :)
