I have been dreaming to go to CES for several years after watching all the madness sitting here in India. CES or the Consumer Electronics Show is the biggest tech conference in the world attended by a record number of tech companies and journalists. Here is a recap of all what we saw at CES 2013. Sit back and enjoy the video below
The Chinese telecom giant launched its first Windows Phone device at the show and it also launched a phone with a 6.2 inch screen bypassing the Samsung Galaxy Note 2’s size.
Sony had a big presence at the show and launched 2 sexy phones the XPERIA Z and the XPERIA ZL with 1080p full HD displays.
Xperia Z – Launch
ZTE launched a large screen phone known as the Grand S which would be coming to the market with LTE in certain countries.
LG decided not to announce any new phones and has reserved them for MWC 2013 which happens later this month. But we did spot the Optimus G and the Optimus Vu 2
Lenovo had a really big product portfolio to show off at CES. I cant remember how many Lenovo phones and tablets I played with. The K900 did catch my attention.
We also got a chance to play with some really cool phones in the booths on the show floor including the HTC Droid DNA and Xiaomi MI2. We also managed to get demo of Ubuntu running on a Galaxy Nexus.

We also spotted a interesting screen protector which could protect an iphone from a hammer !
Chipmakers such as Qualcomm , Nvidia and Intel announced some new chips
We did see some tablets
CES did seem a bit underwhelming to me on the mobile side of things as most companies have moved their mobile launches over to Mobile World Congress , But the general tech products we could see were pretty interesting including 4K TVs FoneArena should be reporting live from MWC 2013 at Barcelona from all the new Fira Gran Via venue later this month !
