Lenovo IdeaTab S2110 Hands-on


Lenovo showcased the IdeaTab S2110 at the International CES 2013 in Las Vegas earlier this month, and we got some hands-on time with the device. It has a 10.1-in IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It is powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8060A processor and has a 1.3M HD front-facing camera. Android tablets with a keyboard dock is already popular with the Asus Transformer tablet, and even this one from Lenovo includes a battery, USB 2.0 ports and a 3-in-1 card reader in the optional docking station.

There is 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash on the back. It is 8.69 mm thick and weighs 580 grams. It has a SIM card slot for 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, aGPS and micro HDMI. It has dual speakers with SRS TruMedia audio.

It packs 1GB LPDDR2 RAM and  16GB of internal memory. Lenovo promises 9 to 10 hours of battery life WiFi web browsing, and the docking station doubles the battery life up to 20 hours.
