Both the handsets are equally good, each having their own merits and demerits. But we decided to break through the specs sheet and give you a comparison of the physical aspects of both the devices.

While the Samsung is impressive. I email and text a lot, so my phones must have a physical keyboard. And given reviews saying the HTC keyboard is the best around..I’ll suffice the lower rez camera as I am mainly looking for a business first-everything else second device. Let’s not overlook the HTC’s excellent speakerphone. A feature that’s often not talked about or compared in reviews as to loudness and clarity. Recent news of US and Canadian carriers getting the 3.5mm version of the Touch Pro2 is just icing on the cake. My next phone on the super 3G network of Sprint.

I have a Touch Pro right now and can’t wait to get my hands on the Touch Pro 2. The HTC phones have been my choice since the Apache and they keep coming with improvements. The only thing more that I could want is for the US version to have the dual cameras. I use Skype on my phone and it would be nice to vidchat but that’s a minor thing.

Like the poster before me said as well, the speakerphone is incredible on these devices. I sit mine on the armrest of the car and talk, at a normal tone, without issues. The improved speaker on the Touch Pro 2 is a great thing.

One thing that I love which a lot of people don’t mention is the A2DP quality. I ride a motorcycle a lot and have my phone connected to my bluetooth set on my helmet. The quality of the music stream is impressive and voice calls are better than using my WEP210 earpiece.

I know that screen is fantastic and the camera is brilliant but I cannot get over the keyboard and the synching with Exchange… just nothing better then a Windows Mobile device for Exchange. Phone looks beautiful regardless! The resolution on the HTC is a lot higher but the Sammy has OLED. HTC needs to start trying to bribe Samsung for those screens… the are beautiful. Just imagine the new Nvidia chips with OLED… there you have it with Windows 7 Mobile… mmm can’t wait! More devices to buy – these things only last 1 year anyway if you want to be the cool kid on the block!

I believe Samsung has the HD Pro model with a physical keyboard. The fact that u can watch/record HD videos is awesome.

ill recomend the samsun omnia hd, i have it my self and i love it. i do text alot and on this phone this is no problem.

you can chose between hand writing, quwerty, and normal tabs. and i use the last one, its like teksting on a normal phone.

this phone also has a good camera. and its verry good sound in it.

so if you dont need al the things that windows mobile has, it’ll be a good phone.

i’ll recomend yoy to use screen protector, because itt ll help you protect the phone against scratches. ill recomend that for both of the phones.

I have HTC touch pro, but I will go now for Samasung omnia HD in my opinion yes HTC touch pro 2 is very good but to be honest the omnia HD is awsome because you can do everything that windows mobile can
    1. syncing with outlook with road sync
    2. office documents
    3. all windows mobile application you can find it in the symbian
    4. the camera is awsome just as if you have a real cam corder

I think thats enough to make samsung got everything from business to multimedia
