Google Drive for Android updated, brings native Spreadsheet editor and more new features


Google has updated the Google Drive app for Android to version 1.1.470.11 that brings native Spreadsheet editor finally, which enables you to edit spreadsheets easily, switch fonts, resize columns, sort data, and more. This update also brings better editing in the documents editor, option to add homescreen shortcuts for files and folders and more new features.

New features in Google Drive for Android

  • Edit Google spreadsheets in new native editor
  • Edit contents of tables in Google Docs editor
  • Formatting is maintained when copy/pasting within Google Docs
  • Single tap to enter edit mode in Google Docs editor
