Sony Xperia T launched with 13MP camera, NFC and 4.55 inch HD display

The next high end Sony smartphone was just unveiled. Dubbed the Sony Xperia T, it brings a 4.55″ display with a resolution of 1280 x720. Sony calls this the “best HD experience on a phone to date”. The phone is running on Android 4.0 on a 1.5Ghz processor.

The camera is a 13MP unit and boasts a special feature that Sony calls Sleep to Snap. What this entails is that you can get from a standby black screen state to taking photos in an instant. NFC is featured prominently allowing users to tap their phones to share images or connect to audio systems. There’s 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further increased with a 32GB microSD card. The Playstation certified handset will be available in black, silver, and white color options.
