ASUS Tablet 810 running Windows 8 spotted at FCC

The first ASUS tablet running Windows 8 has been spotted over at FCC while undergoing certification. Some more information can be gleaned about the tablet thanks to the filing.

The WiFi only slate comes with inbuilt NFC to facilitate easy pairing with peripherals. The screen size is 11.6″ and we should probably expect it to roll out right around the Windows 8 launch. It is still unknown which exact processor is being used in this Intel based tablet nor do we know about the amount of RAM to be bundled in. Microsoft is launching Windows 8 on 26th October along with the Surface tablet running Windows RT. Expect tablets from most major OEMs to launch around then. We’ll update this space as soon as we have more info about the ASUS Tablet 810.
