HTC to offer Indian language support for Desire C, Desire V and One Series phones


HTC has announced that they would roll out full language support for Hindi, Tamil and Marathi for their latest Desire C and Desire V Android smartphones and the HTC One Series including One X, One S and One V in India. HTC officially launched the Desire C last month and the Desire V went on sale in India at the same time.

The native language support would let users to read and write in Hindi, Tamil and Marathi, in addition, users can also view Bengali script on select applications on Google Play.

HTC is now rolling out Reading and writing capability for Hindi, Tamil and Marathi through an automatic software update for HTC Desire C and Desire V, sold in India.

The HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC One V smartphones would get this feature through an update from August 2012. Bengali language viewing capability would also be available for all these phones from August 2012.
