Facebook for Windows Phone gets updated to version 2.5

on May 24, 2012 – 9:06 pmNo Comment

The Facebook app for Windows Phone has been under scrutiny due to the lack of several features compared to the iOS and Android counterparts. With the latest version 2.5 update , the app aims to bring it up to feature parity with the other platforms. The update brings many long requested features like threaded messaging and group messaging.

The ability to tag friends in status updates / posts is another feature which was sorely missed in the application. Users can also delete posts and comment by tapping and holding to pull up context menus. Several other minor features have been added to the application which should go a long way in making the experience enjoyable. Oh and its now possible to like comments as well. The update should show up soon enough on your phone if you have the app installed else you should go give it a spin right now !
