Hi I like the phone but was wondering what’s the RF signal of this product. used a e71 which refused to get doin the basic connectivity for network. please check all blogs befor purchasing this product as the e72 abroad also has the similar problem. hope nokia have looked into the matter and have had it resolved

Its good that you moved to Iphone and Blackberry. Blackberry curve has released its official unlocked (earlier only with Airtel) version of 8520 for Rs 14,990/-

I am not comparing 8520 with E72 but for Blackberry lovers looking at a slightly economical option, 8520 is a perfect buy.

Personally, I will wait for E72 and hope that it launches soon in the Indian market.

Some stores claim E72 will be launched in November and some around New Year. My assumption is that it wont be any later than 2010 for sure. If I have waited for a month already, I dont mind waiting couple of days/weeks more

i just discovered dude that in corporate world Q3 means the span of OCT-DEC. So this news is still on the board valid. another date flashed in with the importers for 2nd weak of november.the price on the safety expected arnd 25K INR. i just heard that nokia had an issue with the voip certification from authorities. No need to worry about the software glitch bcoz this phone wont have one. this is an highly tested software under great precision. nokia has done its homework this time. trust me guys i tested this phone in singapore fest totally. even the form of body is like E71. but when u personally see it its more sexier and appealing. the trackpad is though very much sensitive and initially u ll find a bit hard to get used to it.but trust me guys once u have tht phone u wont get away from it. not to forget about the net connectivity…..its awesum.BB is way too behind thn wat E72 offers in the whole package.if u guys are waiting since long thn trust me its going to be a lovely wait of ur life.way to go……….

Chrominant, that’s silly and wrong. Companies have their own quarters refering to their financial year. Example for companies with financial June2009-July2010, their Q1 is June to August. It’s different with international standard calendar year. (which is Christian calendar)

And when Nokia announce their release of handset to press release, they won’t refer it to Company financial year.
Company may use company financial year during their own AGM or press release for their quaterly/annual profit.

Big companies would not go out and tell mislead whole world in timing.

I was looking e-72 mobile…feature is ultimate..but i am not sure about the hanging of this phone.

Yes this phone hangs specially during Emails, with music and radio I have not seen this hanging. This being a business phone you want email and others to work properly. If you want to buy this phone for music etc then it should be fine.. but why will you buy this for music?

this phone is ok but not happy with music perfomance espcially when I use radio and use jack it gets hanged. nokia should do something attractive change of using jack pin (enhancement) on this. While using of radio or using the head phone the pin some time work and sometime gets hanged.

Ws per the price and features it is good but services of gmail and office pop etc connection are very slow.

you can not compare it with black berry services.

we bought 3no’s of e-72 from Kerala and within two months all set’s front panel(inside the glass) got damaged… and co. says its not covered in waranty… don’t go for it…it’s a trap…

Tina this is ashfak and i purched the phone E72 and it didn’t hang and i use 8 gb memory card with this phone and it is fully loaded and it’s being litlebit slow bit it never hang in my hang so i don’t think that it get hangs bcoz i use this phone….so you can purchse it without any dought..
