Nokia E72 is now officially announced

Nokia E72 which got leaked yesterday has now been announced by Nokia. The main improvements over the E71 include a sexier sleekier design with more rounded corners. A 5 Mega Pixel Camera with LED Flash is a huge upgrade !  The Optical Navikey which makes scrolling easier is certainly something we look forward too

The Camera sits on the  right hand side on the rear and can take 5 MP photos .

Impressive battery life as talktime of Up to 12.5 hours is promised

There’s a 4 GB in-box MicroSD card and the phone supports up to 16GB MicroSD memory.

Music fans will rejoice as the 3.5mm AV connector for stereo headphone jack makes its apperance on the top of the device .

The price of this E-Series phone is expected to be Rs.23000 or around 500 USD approx .

You can expect a significant price drop on the E71 in the coming months.

The phone is expected to be launched internationally in 3rd quarter of 2009 right in time for Diwali and just before Christmas

    Don’t buy this phone …I bought this phone form dubai…
    Really this phone space button some times is not working ….
    This problem not ony me but also Avery one facing this problem

    Yes this phone hangs specially during Emails, with music and radio I have not seen this hanging. This being a business phone you want email and others to work properly. If you want to buy this phone for music etc then it should be fine.. but why will you buy this for music?

    I have been using this for more than 2 months. There is a mismatch between performance and price.

    i have waited for this phone for atleast 6months and using the same. Overall the performance is good,
    but the phone hangs and sometim
    es space bar does not work propwrly.
    Nokia must do some software modification to keep this phone as a hit

    I am looking for this E72 phone. So could any body help me the latest price (after budget 2010) and the quality of the same. Many people are saying (like above) that this mobile is giving hanging problem. I there any changes made by Nokia in this issue??

    this phone is ok but not happy with music perfomance espcially when I use radio and use jack it gets hanged. nokia should do something attractive change of using jack pin (enhancement) on this. While using of radio or using the head phone the pin some time work and sometime gets hanged.

    Ws per the price and features it is good but services of gmail and office pop etc connection are very slow.

    you can not compare it with black berry services.

    we bought 3no’s of e-72 from Kerala and within two months all set’s front panel(inside the glass) got damaged… and co. says its not covered in waranty… don’t go for it…it’s a trap…

        Tina this is ashfak and i purched the phone E72 and it didn’t hang and i use 8 gb memory card with this phone and it is fully loaded and it’s being litlebit slow bit it never hang in my hang so i don’t think that it get hangs bcoz i use this phone….so you can purchse it without any dought..
