    the cost assumption is truly off… considering the W950i which costs approx Rs. 15000… the main upgrade this phone has is a 3.2 Megapixel Camera and a 8 GB Storage capacity… so i would assume it may cost around Rs. 25000…

  • Cupid

    I would agree with Draken on the price. Rs.33, 000/- is a little too steep for the W960. But when all is said and done, it is the sexiest walkman phone from Sony Ericsson and this would increase it’s fan base.

    I too think that the price should be somewhere around 24000 – 28000. Not more than that.

  • Dheeraj Ganiga

    I think that the cost of W960 which is yet to be declared and hope to be near 33,000 is to much as compared to W950. This phone has only an additional feature of 3.2 megapixel and more inbuild memory or 4 GB as compared to W950i. Hope the cost should be near 23,000 max to max and compliment that this mobile has the best look.

    i think that w960 is a complete package of smartphone but the similar model with w950 makes us wonder whether to buy or not

    Tv-Out? I don’t think so. Too bad though, this would’ve been a good Nokia N95 contender should tv out be included.

  • Avenger

    The W960 is the best phone in its class…

    Some ppl actually care how their phone looks….the N95 is way bulky compared to this one..

    @nik
    The W960 is available at a staggering price of Rs 25000/- as of april 8th 2008. pretty expensive I must say..My advice is to wait for a while till the prices go down. you can read my W960 review and news about other
    new SE phones at my blog:

    It seems the prices are not falling as quickly as expected. The W960 is still hovering around the Rs 24000/- mark.

    However, SE will be cutting the prices of all its high-end phones soon, so we should see a cut in the W960′s price too.

    Btw, I had a chance to play with this phone and I was pretty impressed. You can read my review here:

    i think that from the todays market competition this handset has been depreciataed more upto the rate of only 6-7 thousand and the main drawback of this phone is that the touch sceen get damaged ,ore freqently no doubt its an brilliant mobile phone with great technolgies of sony that the name is enough
