Google Docs updated for Android based tablets

Google just unveiled a series of updates which will make Google Docs much more usable on their Android based tablets. The entirely new design has been customized to ensure optimum usage of large screen space.

A three panel view has been introduced which allows users to navigate through filters and collections. It is also possible to view document lists , details all at once. The right most panel allows users to get a preview of their document alongside options to view or edit it. These features are now available in 46 languages on tablet devices with Android 3.0+ (Honeycomb) and above. You can download the app from the Android Market
