If ThisIsMyNext ‘s sources are to be believed then the next major version of Android after Ice Cream Sandwich could be called Jelly Bean. The site reports that some of the major changes planned out for Ice Cream Sandwich have been held off to speed up delivery of the update.

The update however still includes sweeping architectural changes and strives to unify the phone and tablet branches of Google’s Android OS. Sources indicate that the Jelly Bean OS will bring some game changing features. Google’s Eric Schmidt has already confirmed that Android ICS will be available between October – November. Samsung’s Nexus Prime handset is said to be flagship Google device running a stock build of ICS.
