BGR has been reporting about the Nexus Prime from quite some time now, they were the first to inform us that Samsung will be manufacturing this device, now their source has confirmed that Verizon will be bringing out a phone called Droid Prime from Samsung, which will be the first exclusively launched Ice scream Sandwich phone (Android 4.0) for Verizon Wireless.
We have heard about Nexus Prime and now this device will be the CDMA version of the Nexus which will be available only on Verizon by the name Droid prime. It will have the same features as the Nexus Prime, a 720P display and a 1.5 GHz processor. Sometime back we had heard about Samsung Galaxy S II not being available on Verizon and this might be the reason why they did not want SGSII on their list of devices. Nothing is confirmed official and this still is a rumor. We will have to wait for some more time to confirm these rumors.
