Sygic GPS navigation app for Europe now available for Symbian^3 devices


Sygic GPS navigation for Europe is now available for Symbian^3 devices from the OVI store. It comes with maps of European counties powered by TomTom and comes with 3D terrain, street representation, 3D landmarks and thousands of Points of Interests (POI). The Maemo app for N900 was launched last year.

It has turn-by-turn GPS navigation with the latest TomTom maps stored on the phone and it is frequently updated with the latest maps for free of cost. It has hardware accelerated 3D rendering for 3D view of cities and landscape. It also comes with advanced multi-stop route planning options and real-time traffic (as add on feature available for subscription).

It shows speed camera and speed limit display with audio warning, Lane assistant and signposts, Compass-assisted direction detection, Smart search and pedestrian navigation. It supports navigation to the GPS position, postal codes or address in the phone contacts.

The Sygic Europe: GPS Navigation app costs 30 Euros and it could be downloaded from the OVI store. This is limited period offer till 7th August 2011, after that the app would cost 50 Euros.

It supports all the Symbian^3 Nokia phones that include Nokia X7, Nokia N8, Nokia C7, Nokia E7, Nokia C6, Nokia Oro, Nokia T7, Nokia 702T and Nokia E6.
