I was planning to buy this phone but discovered that this phone cannot be used for business. To access business Email you need VPN. Existing VPN software from Nokia simply is not working. Internet is loaded with complains about luck of VPN support for Nokia phones. The only working VPN software for Nokia phones is SymVPN but this phone is not compatible with this software.

Its priced 35K INR!! Is’nt it too much overpriced!! After delaying this mobile for so many months nokia priced it so high!! Who’s gonna buy this having such backdated specs with such a high price!! Nokia N8 is around 22K. What major extra features does it have than the N8 except the qwerty?? Infact few important features (like the camera)is degraded than N8! It should be around 25k max.

so expensive. . . No wonder nokia gas lost market. Its products always been sold on a high margin profits. Nokia has fleeced customers so long.

Ok ! Nice Specs ! 8 MP cam is more than enough ! Holds an USB stick for data connexion ! So its a sorta mini laptop. Baterry should prove lasting for such usage ! Let us see it perform !

I would definitely prefer a N8 to this thing. Not worth the money at all. Pricing N8 and E7 equally is a good deal.

    ha ha ha..
    -Knock Knock..
    -Who’s there?
    -Nokia E7.
    -Nokia E7 who?
    - Nokia E7 who priced itself out of the market…
Hilarious…35k for a nokia Symbian phone. I feel the bright young minds at nokia are not so bright after all. That’s what happens when the strategies are made in the boardrooms without keeping the voice of customer in mind.

when it launched it was looking as latest phone, but in india its launching it so late that , now it is looking as back dated

All manufacturers who made billions of dollars now must understand that Indian mobile buyer can no longer be fooled. People are now realizing that if a smaller brand is offering a better phone or may be close to what big brands are offering, for a much lesser price, they shall rather go for smaller brand. Nokia should realise this. Only a ill informed person shall buy this phone for 35k.
