Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 Available In India For Rs.14,990

Last month, Samsung announced the Android powered Galaxy Ace smartphone. This handset comes with a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, 5 megapixel camera, Android 2.2 (FroYo) operating system and so on. This handset have not been released in India, but Flipkart, a popular online retailer is currently selling this handset in India for Rs.14,990.

Samsung Galaxy Ace features a 3.5 inch touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixels resolution, Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS, 800MHz Processor, TouchWiz 3.0 UI, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G connectivity, 5 megapixel camera with LED Flash, Stereo FM Radio with (RDS), A-GPS and more.

Other features include a 3.5mm headset jack, 150MB internal memory, MicroSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, Android Market, Samsung Apps, Social Hub, Android Browser, Multi-touch zoom, up to 11 hrs talktime and a 1350mAh (Standard) Li-ion battery.

    i have this phone … and i’m quite happy with it …. but the android market dosn’t allow some good games to be downloaded in our country ! … only upset with this !!!

    i recently bought this phone for Rs 14500. this is the best smartphone i have ever laid my hands on!!!! it’s almost flawless and it comes packed and loaded with the new samsung KIES software for PC suite!!! it is truly the future beyond smartphones!!!!!

    hi all.,

    am having this phone and am not impressed with the battery performance. It lasts only upto 8 hrs for full usage (ie., max 3 hrs browsing and downloads, 1 hr phone calls, 1 hour messaging and gprs enabled in 2G network ).. I feel even on simply using some softwares kill my battery. Can anyone let me know whether its the normal battery usage (Max of 8 hrs with GPRS enabled in 2G network) i had made with this phone or I need to change the battery ???

      Samsung rolled out the upgrade and to upgrade you need samsung kies found here http://www.samsungapps.com/about/onPc.as . you can upgrade it to 2.3.4
