Motorola XOOM Price = $799 ?

Motorola XOOM – the Android Honeycomb tablet from Motorola does surely have some impressive specs.  But the tablet might not come cheap and will reportedly carry a minimum advertised price of $799 USD according to a document from Android Central. This might be the cost of the unsubsidized , unlocked version of the XOOM. While the tablet has been announced only for Verizon ,  it should be available on other networks too.The pricing sounds similar to the initial pricing of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. With the iPad 2 expected to launch anytime , we are hoping that the XOOM tablet would justify its expensive price tag.
