Samsung has announced the Star II / Star 2 (S5260) which is the successor to the popular Samsung Star Phone according to the Korea Times .
Samsung seems to be betting big on Social Networking features of the Star II as it comes integrated with Twitter and Facebook. The handset was leaked last week and we now have official confirmation.
The main highlights of this feature phone include a 3inch full touchscreen , social networking , 3.2 MP Camera and WiFi connectivity. It UI is powered by Samsung’s TouchWiz 3.0

While a price tag for the phone has not been revealed , the company plans to launch it first in Germany next month.
It will be available later in other parts of Europe, CIS, South America, India and Middle East.
We are not sure if the new star will be as popular as it previous star (30 million shipments) but that has got a lot to do with the pricing !
