LG V30 Android 8.0 Oreo beta update starts rolling out in the US

LG V30, the latest camera-centric smartphone from the Korean smartphone maker is one of the best flagship smartphones that we have seen in recent times. The LG V30 or the LG V30+ (with 128 GB storage instead of 64 GB) checks almost all the boxes with very modern design gets better with the latest Android Oreo OS upgrade. Initially, the update was seeded in South Korea a couple of weeks back and now the update is available for the selected users in the United States.

The software is based on Android Oreo 8.0 with January security patch, according to a screenshot from a user who has managed to have installed the update. The Oreo update comes with plenty of new features like smart notification bundle, picture in picture mode, notification dot, new battery saving modes for better battery optimisation. Do note that, the update will be rolled out via service providers in the US, which might take some time depending on the network provider.

Within next few weeks, the smartphone should receive the Oreo OTA (over the air) update after the testing is complete.
