Acer introduces new Chromebook 11 with USB Type-C charging, 10 hours of battery life


Acer at the CES 2018 introduced its new Chromebook 11 (CB311-8HT / CB311-8H) with a 11.6-inch touch or non-touch display options, powered by Intel Celeron processors, runs on Chrome OS with Google Play for Android apps and promises up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge.

  • Dual stereo speakers, integrated microphone
  • 18.15mm thin and weighs 1.1kg
  • WiFi 802.11ac 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, 2 x  USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 ports for data transfer, charging and display output, 2 x USB 3.0 Type-A ports
  • Battery life of up to 10 hours.

The new Acer Chromebook 11  (CB311-8HT/ CB311-8H) comes in new Blue colors, starts at $249 (Rs. 15,760 approx.) and will be available in North America in April. It will roll out in EMEA region in March starting at €249. Specifications, prices, and availability will vary by region.
