Google Year in Search 2017: Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, GST, Bitcoin top trending in India

As we inch closer to the end of the year, Google has released the list of top trending searches in India in 2017 like every year. The quick recap highlights all the user’s interests based on the searches made by the users in India on Google and also covers the major events happened in the last 12-month period. 

Bollywood and Cricket continued to remain the top two search topics of the year and India’s biggest blockbuster, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion topped Google’s trending searches charts this year. Indian Premier League, popularly known as IPL and ‘Live Cricket Score followed. In the What is section, GST, and Bitcoin made it to the top search list. Sunny Leone was the topmost search in case of trending people followed by Big Boss entrant Arshi Khan, Sapna Choudhary and YouTube singing sensation Vidya Vox.

Year’s top news moments that made it to the top searches list are the CBSE results, UP elections, Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Budget. India’s Manushi Chhillar historical win at the Miss World ceremony has also listed in the top searches.
