HMD Global launched the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 Android smartphones in India last week. The Nokia 3 was the company’s first Android phone to go on sale last week for Rs. 9,499. The MRP mentioned on the box is Rs. 10,299. We unboxed the phone recently in English as well as Tamil, check out the videos below.

The Nokia 3 has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass display and is powered by a Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit Processor. Running on stock Android 7.0 (Nougat) OS, it has a 8-megapixel autofocus front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

It has a polycarbonate back and a metal frame, but the antenna bands are present on the top and bottom part of the back. It has dedicated nano SIM slots and a microSD card slot. On the back there is a 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, similar to the front. It has 4G VoLTE support and packs a 2650mAh battery.

It has ‘Made in India branding’ along with ‘Designed by HMD Global Oy’ branding. The smartphone is already available across India. Nokia 5 pre-booking starts on July 7 and will be available exclusively from offline stores and Nokia 6 will be available exclusively from Amazon.in with registrations starting July 14th.
