Foxconn insiders reveal details about iPhone 8, Apple’s smart glasses and more

Three alleged Foxconn employees have shared some details about Apple’s upcoming products via a Reddit thread. The thread sheds light on iPhone 8, Siri-powered speaker, Apple’s smart glasses and more. Giving insights about the smart glasses, the thread says it will come in crystal, champagne and black colors and will be available in different sizes for both men and women.

The smart glasses will also come with a microphone for Siri control. It is said to feature a “small capacitive strip” for accepting calls and adjusting the volume. Apple was rumored to be working with Carl Zeiss for its smart AR glasses. Talking about the iPhone 8, the tipsters said that despite the ongoing rumors, the fingerprint sensor will be present on the front and not at the back. The iPhone 8 will come with support for Lightning and will not support USB-C. They also confirmed the phone will be water resistant and it will have 3GB RAM.

Apple is said to give iMacs “full hardware design” with new smart keys feature and it will be released in 2018. Giving details about the Siri-powered smart speaker, the thread says it will sport a design similar to Mac Pro but smaller. It is said to be powered by A9 chip.
