Wyncomm Launches Phone With Hindi QWERTY Keypad

Wyncomm mobile has launched what it is calling India’s first Hindi QWERTY phone. The device is aimed at the lower end of the market and caters to the non-English speaking masses.

The unique selling point of the device has to be its Hindi QWERTY keypad and it comes with with a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) configuration. Sporting a  5.6 cm (2.2) 262 TFT color screen, the device supports social networking sites such as Opera Mini, Snaptu, Nimbuzz, Facebook, Twitter, and MSN. The hardware specifications of the device are as follows :

  2. 1.3 MP Camera
  3. 160by2 SMS (Free SMS to partner countries)
  4. Email
  5. Expandable Memory
  6. Bluetooth
  7. Video Recording
  8. 1100 mAh Battery

The Wyncomm Y-45 has been priced at Rs 3,395 and comes with instant access to 160by2 which provides free sms service to India, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines.
