Adobe Lightroom now lets you capture RAW images in HDR mode

Lightroom RAW_2

Adobe has updated Lightroom app for Android and iOS that adds the ability for users to capture RAW images in HDR mode.

The new HDR mode automatically scans the scene to determine the correct exposure range and then captures three DNG files. These files are automatically aligned, merged, deghosted, and tonemapped in the app. In case of iOS, the app will work on iPhone 7/7 Plus, iPhone 6s/6S Plus, iPhone SE or iPad Pro 9.7 while Android users will need Pixel and Pixel XL, and the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Adobe said the app will work on Galaxy S7 and Pixel devices due to the processing and memory available on these devices.

Users who have subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud will get all the raw data uploaded to their cloud storage. In addition, iOS users can now export original files imported through Lightroom mobile and Lightroom on the web.
