Motorola introduced the Moto G5 Plus smartphone at ongoing MWC 2017. We have got our hands on the phone as we are live at the event. Let’s take a detailed look at the hardware and software of the phone in this photo gallery.

The Moto G5 sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection. The phone is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor and comes with 2GB/ 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, expandable memory up to 128 GB with microSD. It runs Android 7.0 (Nougat).

Similar to the G5, it has the Moto branding, front ported speaker and usual set of proximity and ambient light sensors above the display. The G5 Plus has a 5MP front-facing camera with OmniVision OV5695 sensor, f/2.2 aperture.

The physical home button which is equipped with a fingerprint sensor is present below the display on the bezel.

The power button and volume rockers are situated on the right side. The dual SIM slot is present on the top.

The micro USB port is situated at the bottom. It measures 150.2x74x7.9 mm and weighs 155 grams. It also has water-repellent nano coating.

The G5 Plus sports a 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Dual-Pixel Autofocus, Sony IMX362 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 4K video recording. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. It comes with a 3000mAh battery with Turbo charging.

Moto G5 Plus come in Lunar Gray and Fine Gold colors and starts at US$ 229 (Rs. 15260 approx.) for the 2GB RAM/32GB storage and 279 Euros (US$ 294 / Rs. 19630 approx.) for 3GB RAM/32GB storage. There is also a 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version for select markets.

It will be available beginning in March in various countries across Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific and North America.
