Xiaomi is planning to start making its own processors as it wants to move away from Qualcomm processors as its primary chip provider. Codenamed as Pinecone, it is expected to announced within a month.

Honor has finally started rolling out EMUI 5.0 based on Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for the Honor 8 (FRD-L04) smartphone in the U.S.

Samsung support page has also gone live on Samsung India site for the Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-G955FD. ‘D’ in the model confirms Dual SIM support.

Vodafone today launched its 4G services in Chennai. It will be made available in all major towns and cities across the state by March 2017.

Amazon is expected to launch voice activated smart speaker Echo with Alexa AI assistant in India this year.
