ZTE’s first Android Wear smartwatch Quartz surfaces, could be announced at MWC 2017

ZTE is expected to introduce its first Android Wear smartwatch dubbed as Quartz (ZW10) soon, according to @evleaks. The first press image of the upcoming smartwatch has surfaced. It is not clear if this will run the latest Android Wear 2.0 OS.

ZTE Quartz got Bluetooth certification with the model number ZW10 last month that confirmed UMTS 3G cellular connectivity and WiFi support. It will let you pair with Android versions 4.3 and up or iOS 8.2. Specifications of the smartwatch are still a mystery.

ZTE showed off Venus 1 and Venus 2 activity trackers at the  Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona. The ZTE Quartz is expected to be unveiled at unveiled at the MWC 2017 later this month since the company did not introduce it along with the LG Watch Sport and Watch Style Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches yesterday.

Several other companies are also expected to introduce new smartwatches running Android Wear 2.0 at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona this month.
