Today, OnePlus launched its second flagship smartphone this year dubbed as OnePlus 3T in India. In terms of the specs, it has the same 5.5-inch 1080 Optic AMOLED display, faster Snapdragon 821 processor, runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with Oxygen OS top, a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash with the Sapphire crystal lens cover protection, 16-megapixel front-facing camera, 3400mAh battery and new 128GB storage option.

The OnePlus 3T is priced at Rs. 29,999 for the 64GB inbuilt storage model, and Rs. 34,999 for the 128GB storage model, making it the most expensive OnePlus device yet. Both OnePlus 3T variants will be exclusively available from Amazon.in – from 12.01am IST on December 14. The soft gold variant will be available later.

Initially, Samsung launched the Gear S3 smartwatch at IFA 2016 in two variants which are Frontier and Classic. Now as per the recent report, Samsung is expected to launch the Gear S3 in two variants in India sometime around January 2017.

 

Apple plans to use drones and new indoor navigation features to improve its Maps service. Moving forward, the company is assembling a team of robotics and data-collection experts that will use drones to capture and update map information faster than its existing fleet of camera-and-sensor ladened minivans.

The data collected would be sent to Apple teams that rapidly update the Maps app to provide fresh information to users. Apple is also developing new features for Maps, including views inside buildings and improvements to car navigation.

In a recent development, Motorola confirmed that they don’t have any plan to launch a new smartwatch anytime soon. Motorola executive confirmed that no new smartwatch has been planned for Android Wear 2.0 release next year. He also said that Motorola’s annual device roadmap would not contain any wearable, including smartwatches.
